Introducing Will Crewdson 16 year old Racing Driver

We are proud to be one of the sponsors for this young north east racing driver. With race venues on the timetable for Silverstone & Brands Hatch, we are very excited about being a part of his journey.

Hi, my name is Will Crewdson, and this is me, then and now!

I’m 16 years old and I’m from the North East. I’m also a racing driver, and this season I have the absolute privilege of driving in the Junior Saloon Car Championship for Team Orex Competition.

JSCC gives drivers under 17 the opportunity to race in small saloon cars, at well-known circuits, such as Silverstone and Brands Hatch. Many successful drivers have started their careers in JSCC, before moving into BTCC, GT cup, Mini Challenge, etc.

It is a high-profile race series, growing in popularity and profile year on year, and even featured on Top Gear last year. After years of preparation and racing in e- sports events, I have been incredibly fortunate this year to be honoured with a seat with this amazing race team to drive for them in this year’s championship. This truly has been an absolute dream come true, the opportunity to start my racing

I really do appreciate that it’s such a difficult time to ask people to look at what for most is an already over extended budget this year, so I want to make sure that anyone who is able to help me truly does benefit from our partnership. With that in mind, I don’t necessarily have set partnership packages available; I’d much rather work with you to put something in place that would be genuinely beneficial for your company. Depending upon the amount you feel you can offer me, I hope we can work together to find something that will truly work for you. Things that this may include could be:

  • On car branding,

  • Driver worn logos,

  • Social media coverage. My own business Instagram driver profile, @will.racer will are

    already live and active with good engagement which will increase exponentially over the season. The JSCC and Track Action pages already have an engaged and active audience, as well as lots of coverage from BARC and Motorsports UK.

  • Write/front blog posts and social media posts, and could also take part in events and photo shoots of your choice.

  • Private company events. I have a full, professional standard racing simulator, with optional VR headset, which can be used at company events, team building, company competitions, in showroom events etc- who from your team or customer base can beat me to win a prize? (rental costs for this normally in the region of £1500-£2000)

  • Tax efficient support and donation of a local young driver at the start of his career in return for brand exposure, with sponsorship deductible for corporation tax purposes (now 25%) and in turn shareholders would reduce liabilities for personal income tax (up to 45% savings- please take your own advice on this)

    As an indicator of the amounts needed for driver sponsorship this year, each race costs me in the region of £3500 (with 8 races this season) You may to choose to work with me on a single race, a joint enterprise with another business, or if you feel able to act as an exclusive driver sponsor, you will have full and sole access to all of these opportunities; I really am open to working with you in any way possible.

    I am also taking part in other racing events this year- including the British Schools Karting Championship, the JSCC esports series, and other online esports events, so your company will also be represented at these events via Driver sponsorship. (You can even have a company branded esports car!)
